Spelman Alumnae Are Women Who Serve

Stay Connected to Northern Virginia Spelman Alumnae

NAASC is the official organization that supports Spelman College through financial gifts, sisterhood, community service, student recruitment, and recognition of Spelman women.

With your continued membership and support of the NAASC’s programs, we are able to:

  • Educate future generations of Spelman women
  • Develop alumnae leaders
  • Represent alumnae as a unified body when presenting issues of concern to the college
  • Assist with DMV-area Spelman College recruitment events

If you’re a Northern Virginia Spelman Alumna, then we would like to extend an invitation of membership to you today. The stronger our membership body, the greater the impact we can have.

Spelman alumnae represent a remarkable legacy – a legacy built on courage, tenacity, and the audacity of women like Clara Howard and Claudia Harreld, who founded what we now know as the National Alumnae Association of Spelman College (NAASC). We embody their vision to create a network of support, empowerment, and excellence for all women who have attended Spelman College.
Today, we invite you to continue that tradition and become a member of the Northern Virginia Chapter of NAASC!
