NAASC Membership Overview

NAASC is the official organization that supports Spelman College through financial gifts, sisterhood, community service, student recruitment, and recognition of Spelman women.

With your continued membership and support of the NAASC’s programs, we are able to:

 

  • Educate future generations of Spelman women,
  • Develop alumnae leaders,
  • Represent alumnae as a unified body when presenting issues of concern to the college.

 

Your membership and involvement is desired at both the national and local chapter levels. As such, membership dues are collected by both the national and local chapters (national dues are a prerequisite to joining a local chapter).  The membership year for the National Alumnae Association of Spelman College (NAASC) begins July 1st and runs through June 30th of the following year.

NAASC Member Discounts

National Membership Levels/Dues

You must be a dues-paying national-level NAASC member BEFORE proceeding to join a local chapter. Review the national membership levels below to determine what best suits you.

 

Lifetime Membership $1000 –  May be paid in full or in $200 installments within a period not to exceed five (5) years. Once paid in full, Lifetime Membership does not expire.
Regular Membership  $50 – Paid annually and expires at the end of each fiscal year (June 30th).
Recent Alumnae Membership  $25 –  Alumnae whose class has not celebrated its first (5-year) reunion qualify for the “recent alumnae” level and will receive a 50% discount of the regular membership rate. Paid annually and expires at the end of the fiscal year (June 30th).
New Graduate Membership  Complimentary –  The most recent graduating class will receive a one-year complimentary membership.

 

Local Chapter Dues

Your NoVA Chapter dues must be paid annually every fiscal year and helps us be more effective at a local level to carry out the mission of NAASC. You will be able to pay both National and Local Dues here on this website. Click the Join Now button below to get started.
